You wanted me to change, I wouldn't,
You thought we would remain friends, I couldn't,
And I can't wait forever,
For you to get yourself together,
My world can't revolve around you,
No matter how much you wish it to,
I have to live for today, live for tomorrow,
Otherwise my life will be overcome with sorrow,
I hope you understand the things I am telling you,
If not, seriously, get a clue.
This is the first poem I have ever published but I hope there are more to come!

- My name's Maria I'd have to say my inspiration is my family, school and the wonderful as well as not so wonderful elements that surround me. I am mainly a loner and misunderstood at some times. Mainly life is good but I believe that without bumps in the road the journey through life wouldn't be very challenging. What you do with the challenges defines you as a person. I spend a lot of time on my own and find life more peaceful that way.
